Nicole Kidman Given Cartier Trinity Ring

I've just read that Keith Urban recently gave Nicole Kidman a fabulous Cartier pave diamond Trinity ring, following the birth of their first child together.

The Cartier Trinity ring was first created in 1924, and has become an iconic piece of jewellery design and symbolism. It consists of three intertwined bands, crafted in platinum, red gold and yellow gold, and is often given following the birth of a first child.

Nicole is not the first celebrity to be given this ring. Bizarrely, it was also given by her ex, Tom Cruise, to Katie Holmes on Mother's Day!

The Cartier ring is priced at over $70,000, so for those of us without a celebrity sized wallet, there is an alternative ring design that is traditionally given following the birth of a child.
