Cannes Opening Night

The Cannes Film founded in 1946, is the world's oldest, most dominant and celebrated film festival. The private festival is held annually (usually in the month of May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres, in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France.

The 62nd edition started on 13 May and it will end on 24 May.

The 43-year-old actress, Robin Wright Penn, who is going through a divorce from Oscar-winning director Sean Penn, led the fashion parade at the world's premier film festival; she was glowing in her silver off the shoulder dress looking truly glamorous as her diamond drop earrings added that extra sparkle.
