Kirstie Allsopp Sports New Ring On Engagement Finger

Just one week after the media reported that presenter Kirstie Allsopp had appealed for help in finding her lost engagement ring by setting up a website, it appears she may already have found a replacement. Despite her dedicated site - Kirstieslostring.co.uk - and post of a £1,000 reward, the Location, Location, Location host was spotted out and about wearing what appears to be a turqoise alternative on her ring finger.

Allsopp lost the original ring while filming her new series of "Kirstie's Home Made Home" in February after taking it off while learning to make a mosaic. During lunch she popped to the Marks & Spencers in Mare Street, East London and it is believed to have fallen out of her pocket somewhere around there.

Discussing the missing 33 carat spinel and diamond ring, Allsopp said it is not hugely expensive but has great sentimental value. For those who do not know, a spinel looks like a ruby but has a very different mineral composition and is much more commonplace. The presenter received the ring in 2006 when she got engaged to millionaire Ben Andersen after the birth of her first child.
