Engagement Ring Fell From Heaven, Returned By God

An American pastor saw his dreams of the ultimate romantic proposal plummet as the all important engagement ring fell off the hot air balloon he'd hired. Doh!

James Ng had been preparing to pop the question while flying high above the clouds. But he accidentally knocked the camera case in which the ring box had been hidden over the side of the balloon, falling 500 feet to the woods below.

He had a moment of uncertainty about carrying on with the proposal, but canny girlfriend, Sonya Bostic, knew something was up and Ng decided to be straight with her. He attached a twist tie to her finger and she accepted.

Still he´d spent a lot of money saving up for that ring and he wasn´t about to let it go. So collecting information about the flight plan of the balloon and maps of the area from Google he spent an exhaustive week looking for the engagement ring.

And hallelujah on the seventh day the ring was found. The pastor said the ring was returned unscathed to him thanks to God.
